The 6.6 is the little brother to the 7.8. The engine is backwards, meaning the exhaust is on the driver side, and the fuel system is on the passenger. I had an F-600 with the 6.6 and hydro brakes, and I have an F-800 with air brakes. Unless it's stupid cheep, the hydro brakes are a deal killer in my opinion. My 7.8 runs and pulls awesome.

Come to think about it, I found an original in the box Ford block heater kit for this motor in the bottom of my tool box. Guess some guy ordered it and his already had one.
